CScout is working with a major pharmaceutical company to help them determine which trends are affecting their target segments. This research is helping brand managers discover new insights that could lead to new products, packaging, and marketing messages.
Case Study: Global Food Company
CScout created a detailed trend report on Macro Trends affecting a global food company. Together with it’s partner Mandalah, CScout researched trends in five countries – Brazil, USA, China, Mexico and Argentina. The most relevant trends were selected in client workshops and deep dive research conducted with experts in each country. In ideation workshops the trends are being presented to different management teams and concrete strategy ideas developed for implementation in 2012.

Ethnographic Research
CScout conducts global ethnographic research. Interviewing industry experts and lead-users, CScout provides clients with qualitative insights. Results from the study can take the form of lifebook journals, insights videos and detailed research reports.

CScout conducted an ethnographic trend study interviewing 300 women in 3 countries on their trend behavior. The study was part of a segmentation & brand plan for a global healthcare client.

CScout worked with a US advertising agency to help them determine which trends were affecting the digital “State of the Mating Game” for a leading deodorant brand. The ethnography helped the agency discover new insights that lead to new digital marketing strategy.
Case Study: Mobile Phone Use around the World
CScout filmed 20 adults in 6 countries to document what mobile phones mean to them. From Malaysia to Columbia, our video scouts captured ethnographic insights which were edited around 5 key themes for a presentation to a Fortune 100 client.
