Playstation to Introduce A.R. Avatars

The lines between gaming reality will blur even more as the Playstation and is Playstation Eye camera begin to merge the digital with the physical world. The Face Recognition Library can scan a player’s face and superimpose a digital face on top of it to bring life to a character. The technology doesn’t just track face placement, but expressions as well. Players can talk, blink, and smile in real life, and have those expressions replicated live by their new avatar.
