bannerbkg1.jpgHaving already represented CScout since 2002, CScout Japan incorporated as a Japanese kabushiki gaisha (Co. Ltd.) in 2007, marking a new push to provide even better information, reports, and tours on Japan’s deep and fascinating market.

Headed by CEO Sven Kilian and Director Michael Keferl, CScout Japan Co. Ltd. is expanding both in size and in strength, integrating Japanese and American/European experts and scouts to widen our knowledge and creative base. This will allow us to not only expand our reach, but to delve more deeply into specific topics of interest.

The CScout Japan blog (www.cscoutjapan.com) has gained a great deal of worldwide exposure this year, with some days topping 40,000 visitors due to links from the most powerful sites on the web. Our content has been covered by the BBC, ABC, CNN UK, CNN Asia, CNN America, CBC, the Wall Street Journal, Stern, German ZDF, and many more outlets. We’re also developing a bi-monthly segment for the G4 Network’s Attack of the Show that will highlight the latest trends from Japan. Including a collaboration with JapanTrendShop.com, CScout Japan is also helping to bring the latest gadgets and toys to the outside world.

In the end, of course, our focus is to gather and process the latest trends for companies and individuals who need to know what’s going on here. Our Trend, Lifestyle, and Experience Tours have become popular for innovation groups and busy executives wishing to make the best of their time in Tokyo. Tours are completely customized for each client, including meetings with experts and firsthand insight from experienced researchers and scouts. In addition, our reports and custom trend-watchlists keep clients up-to-date on the market without having to jump on a plane.

We’re looking forward to our growth, and are planning carefully to reach our goals in a deliberative fashion. Far from being analysts and number crunchers for a particular segment of the market, CScout Japan’s overall mission is to bring aspects from all segments together to better see the Big Picture, connecting the dots to facilitate Innovation through Inspiration.
