With elaborate eyelashes a trend of the 60ies celebrates it’s big revival.
Trend Description:
Ditch the make up, brush up your lashes: With the new colorful, feathery and glittery eyelashes this fashionable 60ies trend (remember Twiggy and Mary Quant) celebrates a big time come back. So-called “Lash Bars” in Japan beautify eyes with fluttery, birdlike creations, called “Dazzling Diamante” or “Yellow Flasher”. “Lucent Sky” even casts colored patterns. First Lash bars have been spotted in the US too!
Cases:
Tokyo Lash Bar

Lash Styling services include the retail and application of more than 20 styles of false eyelashes, including “Mini Crystal”, “Dazzling Diamante”, and “Colored Flare”. Of course there are also all kind of mascaras, Eylash Curlers, tweezers and brow manicure products. Trend Impact:
Sales for false lashes are going up and with a single pair of eyelashes going for up to US$ 40 the revenue might skyrocket in the next few month. The procedure is easy but very eye-catching. Done well, the false lashes can turn every wink into a little miracle. While some of the new lashes are clearly overdone, there are some, which might inspire the whole fashion industry for the up coming season.
