With elaborate eyelashes a trend of the 60ies celebrates it’s big revival.
Trend Description:
Ditch the make up, brush up your lashes: With the new colorful, feathery and glittery eyelashes this fashionable 60ies trend (remember Twiggy and Mary Quant) celebrates a big time come back. So-called “Lash Bars†in Japan beautify eyes with fluttery, birdlike creations, called “Dazzling Diamante†or “Yellow Flasherâ€. “Lucent Sky†even casts colored patterns. First Lash bars have been spotted in the US too!
Cases:

Trend Setters in Japan „Lash Out“: A little slide show by WGAL featuring an employee at the Eye Lash Bar in Tokyo’s chic Omotesando disctrict.
Trend Impact:
Sales for false lashes are going up and with a single pair of eyelashes going for up to US$ 40 the revenue might skyrocket in the next few month. The procedure is easy but very eye-catching. Done well, the false lashes can turn every wink into a little miracle. While some of the new lashes are clearly overdone, there are some, which might inspire the whole fashion industry for the up coming season.
