By partnering with other companies, hotels can offer their guest more than just a bed, jacuzzi and cable tv. While the hotels might win more guests, the companies can actually market their products.

Update:
W Hotel and Puma
Starting in the end of May 2006, W Hotels will be the exclusive partner for the new Puma TrainAway collection. The collection includes Puma jackets, shirts, shorts, and sneakers for men and women – of course designed to be extremely travel-friendly. For example, the jacket features storage compartments for the TrainAway sneakers and folds down to form a sleek pouch. The sneakers are collapsible for storage and have a little pocket designed to hold the hotel key card while working out. The collection will be sold through W’s online boutique W Hotels – The Store. With the new athletic fashion collection, W will also launch a multi-layered fitness program which we will feature in an upcoming post!
Panasonic Massage Suites
Panasonic’s Massage Suites program offers hotels the possibility of pampering their guests with the luxury of massage in their hotel suites. The chairs are designed to adapt to varying body types and are easy to use. Customers can choose between the deep-tissue therapy techniques of Shiatsu massage or the soothing relaxation techniques of Swedish massage. Panasonic hopes to enhance the brand image of participating hotels and increase customer satisfaction.
