Annotated Spaces are real world sites (buildings or locations) connected to virtual or recorded information.

Update
Who says marketing agencies can’t promote themselves? The Boston agency Modernista came up with an ongoing self-promotional campaign called “Bangthestreets”. The goal seems to be to plaster the whole world with red exclamation marks, the company’s logo. Modernista sends it to anybody who is interested, for free. People are encouraged to take a picture of the exclamation mark anywhere they like. Modernista then puts the picture on its own Bang the Street site, highlighting the person who took it, including name, location, profession and a link to the person’s website. Besides being pretty desirable to be featured on the website of a successful agency the campaign is fun – for the one who take the pictures as well for the ones who search the site for eventual talent. And of course, Modernista gets the word out about the agency’s own cool factor.
